1 Year Bookstaversary – and a GIVEAWAY!

Can you believe it? I started this book journey 1 full year ago!

It started as something to do to alleviate boredom staying home so much because I was really sick last year. I posted a photo on Instagram and the rest is history. The blog soon followed over the summer and here we are, on year later!

The BookSharks community has been so fun. I’ve read so many amazing books I’d probably never have picked up if it hadn’t been for BookSparks! I’ve been featured in their Shark Spotlight 3 times now! Here’s my feature from last week:

I have been involved in numerous popup tours, which can all be found on my blog here! And I was a campaign ambassador for the #NSFWreads tour, the #YAWRC2019 campaign, and I am just starting their new Spring Campaign: Spring Book Dates #SwipeRightOnReading!

Little Brown Ambassador! I just found out I am now ambassador for Little Brown Publishers – HUGE honor. I’m not sure what it entails just yet, so stay tuned!

Book Events! I attended a few books events, including BookCon last year. It wasn’t my favorite but it was a fun experience and I’m glad I went! I met several celebs (Oh hey, Tay Diggs!) and a lot of authors.

I’ve gone to several books signings locally, went to the Daisy Jones and The Six book launch and met Taylor Jenkins Reid, and also attended the Bucks Book Fest for it’s inaugural year and can’t wait to go back again this year!

This year I’ll be attending BookEXPO instead of Con. Which I am SO excited about. I’ll be meeting Suzy, and several other bloggers I’ve met along the way!

Book Tours! I am always honored to be part of Suzy Approved Book Tours. I’ve read SO MANY amazing books! I have so many new favorites because of Suzy. She’s an amazing book pusher, and has helped me grow my following so much! I’ll be meeting Suzy in person (finally!) in May at BookEXPO and I cannot wait!

Published! I cannot even tell how much I lost my sh*t when I was contacted by a university to see if they could use my photo in a magazine! EEEK!!

It was even more awesome that the photo is one of my favorite bookstagram pics and one of my favorite books of the year – The Beantown Girls by Jane Healey!
