The Hopeless Romantics series by Nina Bocci

Did you know there is such a thing as National Eat What You Want Day!⁣?

Well, there is! And it’s TODAY!!

I’d like to eat that cake on this cover right now.⁣

Do you ever read series?

I never typically do but then this Hopeless Romantics series sucked me in with all the fun characters and entertaining antics, that I needed to see where everyone’s stories ended up. And I may have been enticed by all the delicious food throughout the books!⁣

I had a lot of fun reading this series and I’m kind of hoping that The Ingredients of You and Me isn’t the last we’ll see of Hope Lake! Its the most recent installment in this adorable series and just came out last week!

I feel like the stories just keep getting better, and I’ve come to adore the characters so much! The leading ladies are smart and strong. The men are HOT. And the grannies might just be my favorite part of the whole series.⁣

Yes, a big part of the third installment of this fun trilogy involves a group of ladies referred to as The Golden Girls a.k.a. The Baked Nanas who definitely steal the show.

But Parkers’ story as a New Yorker -slash- Food Network star -slash- Professional Baker is just as sweet when she decides to sell her famous bakery and retreat to the tiny town of Hope Lake to figure out where she wants her life to go, and hopes to get her baking mojo back.

But will her chemistry with small town Nick prove to be a recipe for a delicious disaster?⁣

A fun, light, and low-steam read, The Ingredients of You and Me rounds out a heartwarming and refreshing series that was delightful to read!

And it also has RECIPES!

Thanks to @tlcbooktours @ninapolitan and @gallerybooks for the gifted books.⁣

You can get the whole series here!

Continue below for more details about these fun books!

They can totally be read as standalone books but I strongly suggest reading in order…  because it’s just so much more fun this way!

On the Corner of Love and Hate introduces us to the fictional town of Hope Lake, PA – which ties the series together. I want to live there. It’s quaint, and one of those storybook town with small businesses on every corner, and everyone knows your business!

41MVFtKjkfL._SY346_Synopsis: When Emmanuelle Peroni’s father—and current mayor of Hope Lake, Pennsylvania—suggests she help with Cooper Endicott’s campaign, she’s horrified. Cooper, one of her (former) oldest friends, drives her crazy in every way possible. But he’s also her father’s protégé, so Emma reluctantly launches her plan to help him win the local election.

It’s not as easy as it looks. Cooper’s colorful love life is the sticking point for many voters, and his opponent is digging up everything he can from his past. It seems that every time Emma puts out the flames from one scandal, another one flares up. Emma knows that if Cooper wants to win, he needs to keep his nose clean. The only problem? She might just be falling in love with the one person she promised never to pursue: the mayoral candidate himself.

Meet Me on Love Lane continues with some of the secondary characters we met in On the Corner of Love and Hate. This one is my FAVORITE because I ADORE Henry!

51jTx7wMT8L._SY346_Synopsis: Charlotte Bishop is out of options in New York City. Fired, broke, and blacklisted by her former boss, she’s forced to return to her hometown of Hope Lake, PA to lick her wounds. Although she’s expecting to find a miserable place with nothing to do, she is pleasantly surprised to discover it is bustling and thriving.

She’s only supposed to be in Hope Lake temporarily until she can earn enough money to move back to New York. She’s not supposed to reconnect with her childhood friends or her beloved grandmother. She’s not supposed to find her dream job running the local florist shop. And she’s definitely not supposed to fall for not one but two of Hope Lake’s golden boys: one the beloved high school English teacher, the other the charming town doctor.

With a heart torn between two men and two cities, what’s a girl to do?

The Ingredients of You and Me is an adorable ‘finish’ to the groups of friends in the books! I love Nick, and Parker is a fun addition to the group! Nick is definitely a “bad-boy” that you’d never think would settle down… or could he??

41BRRXOJkEL._SX320_BO1,204,203,200_Synopsis: After selling her famous bakery back in New York, Parker Adams visits Hope Lake, Pennsylvania, to figure out her next steps. And soon she’s wondering why she ever loved city life in the first place. Between the Golden Girls—the senior women who hold court—and Nick Arthur, her equally infuriating and charming former flame, Parker finds a community eager to help her get her mojo back.

But even though Hope Lake gives her the fresh start she’s been looking for, Parker discovers that it’s not so easy to start over again with Nick. Their chemistry is undeniable, but since Nick is a freshly taken man, Parker is determined to keep things platonic. With a recipe for disaster looming, Parker must cook up a new scheme, figuring out how to keep everything she’s come to love before she loses it all.
