But, I have to be honest, the beginning of this book raised it bit!
When Steven’s beloved Oliver goes missing one day – snatched right out of his car, I had some heart palpitations. I was sweating. No joke. If anyone, ever, took my Moose, or even messed with one tiny hair on his cute little tushy, I’d probably be in jail for murder.
The story takes us on a riveting journey of clues and sightings of little Oliver as we weave back and forth between Steven’s past and what the dogs means to him, and the present – and how badly this loss is affecting him.
Steven is understandably devastated, and this may seem like it’s a sad story, but in way, Oliver’s disappearance was one of the most eye-opening and enlightening times of his life.
Steven thought the only good thing he had in his life was Oliver, but it turned out he had an abundance of good things all around him.
Loving and caring people, and the power of community pulled Steven through this harrowing ordeal – and thankfully, no jail time! 😆

About the Author:
Steven Carino was born in Huntington, New York. The youngest of five children, he graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor of Science in American History. He worked as a DJ in New York City before launching careers in advertising and real estate and starting his own employment agency. Today, Steven has his own driving business and lives in a cottage in Bedford, New York, with his best friend, Oliver, and an array of sheep, goats, chickens, a horse, a rooster, and a mini-cow named Anna Belle. Oliver is Steven’s first book.
