The Stranger in the Mirror by Liv Constantine

It’s #ThrillerThursday my friends!⁣

Have you read any great thrillers lately?

Let me tell you about this one … you do not want to snooze on this book!⁣

“Liv Constantine plants her flag squarely in land staked out by the likes of Lisa Gardner and Karin Slaughter.”—Providence Journal

⁣I’m a huge fan of this duo and The Stranger in the Mirror is such a fun, wild ride of intense twists and shocking turns. I’m in awe of how they brilliantly crafted this intricate story of psychological mayhem.⁣

Philadelphia: Addison is about to marry Gabriel. The only problem? She has no idea who she is. She doesn’t even know her real name.⁣

Boston: Julian is celebrating his wedding anniversary. Alone. Because his wife has been missing for 2 years.⁣

Could they be the same person? Cue the crazy! ⁣

“Jaw-dropping twists with an unsettling edge that you’ll need a few days at the beach to recover.” — Reese’s Book Club

OK, OK let me back up a little. This one starts with Addison engaged to man she’s known for a few years. She met him just after she was found wandering on the side of a NJ highway bleeding, with no memiory of how she got hurt, or how she ended up there. She has no idea who she is, or where she came from.

And Julian’s wife Cassandra has been missing for the exact same amount of time. Julian is convinced something bad happened to her because she would never voluntarily leave behind her young daughter.

When their lives intersect it is all the fun things that psychological thrillers are made of.

This plot is too bonkers to reveal anymore, just know that it’s a deliciously twisty page-turner, it’s pacing never lets up, and if you need help picking your jaw up off the floor at the end – call me – I’ll bring the muscle. 💪🏼⁣

About the Book:

Addison’s about to get married, but she’s not looking forward to the big day. It’s not her fiancé; he’s a wonderful man. It’s because Addison doesn’t know who she really is. A few years ago, a kind driver found her bleeding next to a New Jersey highway and rescued her. While her physical wounds healed, Addison’s memory never returned. She doesn’t know her real name. Or how she ended up injured on the side of a road. Or why she can’t shake the notion that she may have done something very, very bad . . .

In a posh home in the Boston suburbs, Julian tries to figure out what happened to his loving, caring wife, Cassandra, who disappeared without a trace two years ago. She would never have left him and their seven-year-old daughter Valentina of her own free will—or would she?

As these two lives intersect, The Stranger in the Mirror hooks readers with riveting drama, told with Liv Constantine’s hallmark blend of glamour, tense psychological thrills, and jaw-dropping twists.

  1. This certainly sounds fascinating! I have a hard time reading thrillers because they really freak me out, but the concept of this one is enough to pique my interest. I know I have several friends who love psych thrillers so I’ll have to recommend it to them!
